NBCUniversal is one of the world’s leading media and entertainment companies. KI has worked with them for the last 7 years to create multiple, exciting marketing campaigns for their colossal franchise, Jurassic World.
Each of these campaigns needed to deliver or support a key moment for the Jurassic World franchise – whether this be in or out of a theatrical release year. The challenge for KI was to deliver campaigns for a range of budgets, which could evolve or be annualised, in order to sustain retail support, product demand and sales.
All of the campaigns required strategic planning and concepting, expert copywriting and exceptional creative assets. Strong narratives formed the basis of each campaign, honing in on the epic-ness of dinosaurs, nostalgia and making memories.
Celebrating 30 years since the movie that started it all, Jurassic Park. For this campaign, KI wanted to bring Jurassic Park dinosaurs to life on an epic scale, so we produced an experiential activation that spanned Europe. You can read all about it here.
We produced two toolkits, both a continuation of the annual digital competition campaign Dino Days for Jurassic World. We developed the campaign strategies, creative assets, toolkit and developed the competitions.
This toolkit would support retailers throughout the Christmas period, by providing them with a modular set of assets, tailored at a local level, to meet specific local market needs.
From campaign strategy, narrative, messaging and key art, to microsite and competition development, social assets and digital ads, plus the creation of POS assets and print-outs. And of course, comprehensive guidelines on how to run the campaign.
