Working with Whizz-Kidz

Morph’s Epic Art Adventure is hosted by leading charity for young wheelchair users Whizz-Kidz, in partnership with Aardman and Wild in Art. This event aims to raise awareness of the needs for young wheelchair users to be mobile, enabled and included in society.

As official Creative Partner, KI has been collaborating with Whizz-Kidz to bring this epic event to life. We have been designing and producing a plethora of materials, for both the run-up to the event and for the trail itself.

Jason and his Argonaut

KI is incredibly lucky to be sponsoring our very own Morph, designed by the amazingly talented, internationally exhibited and Arts Council supported iPad artist, Jason Wilsher-Mills. We loved that he collaborated with children and young wheelchair users to produce his Morph, known as Argonaut. You can find Argonaut in all his fabulous glory outside The Tate Modern now. And listen to the interview our CEO Gary did with Jason below!

GARY CHATS TO JASON WILSHER-MILLS

Our Gary Pope spoke to Jason about his life, loves, and the role disabled children and young people played in helping him create Argonaut.

“The challenge was to create a new artwork,
which represented the group, and gave them a
chance to tell their own stories, whilst allowing
me to do the same.”
GET INVOLVED

Morph’s Epic Art Adventure London launches on Monday 19th June and runs throughout the summer until 20th August. If you’re not able to do the trail itself, you can still get involved by donating directly, fund raising, volunteering, or why not bid on your very own Morph? All 56 will be up for grabs at the end of the summer!
